Both charging modes will also display the current battery voltage and when charging is complete the screen will display "chg.finished".
NITECORE TM10K FULL
If using a 5 V, 2 A adaptor the screen will display "charging" and a full charge will take approximately 4 hours in regular charging mode. The torch will automatically access the Quick Charge mode when connected to a quick charge 2.0 adaptor and will display "Q.charge" on the screen. Thanks to the Quick Charge 2.0 charging circuit the TM10K is capable of charging the battery in approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes when using a Quick Charging 2.0 USB adaptor.
The standard USB end can be plugged into a USB port on the computer or charged via the mains with a USB adaptor. Remove the dust cover from the charging port and insert the Type-C end of the included cable into the charging port. The built-in battery is charged up via the Type-C USB charging port that is on the tail of the torch. When the light is turned off the screen will show "standby" and the current battery voltage briefly before it goes off. The TM10K is equipped with a multi-functional OLED display that will successively show the brightness level & lumens, battery voltage, power remaining, run-time remaining and temperature when the torch is first turned on. Due to the heat created from such a high output torch, Nitecore had to come up with an effective cooling design, which has been achieved with a unibody design and a 4 mm thick copper cooling PCB. To be able to produce such power the TM10K requires a battery with a high output, which is what led Nitecore to the INR21700 48G battery manufactured by Samsung SDI, that has a capacity of 4800 mAh and a discharge current of 35 A. The turbo mode of 10,000 lumens can only be activated for 7 seconds at a time due to the heat it produces. The Nitecore TM10K is a compact rechargeable searchlight with a maximum output of 10,000 lumens using six Cree XHP35 HD LEDs, which is absolutely amazing considering its size.
